Russian Nuclear Energy State Corporation Rosatom plans to increase its portfolio of foreign orders to $150 bln, Alexey Likhachev, Deputy Head of Rosatom, said.

Earlier this week, Deputy Head of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev said that the state corporation plans to increase 10-year portfolio of orders to $150 bln. By the end of 2016, the corporation plans to build up its portfolio of order for the construction of nuclear power plants abroad to $137 bln.

By early 2015, the 10-year portfolio of foreign contracts of Rosatom was $101.4 bln. This sum includes not only the construction of NPPs but also contracts for maintenance and upgrade of NPP, equipment supplies and etc.

Currently, the amount of the company’s contracts for construction of energy units alone exceeds $300 bln.

Earlier the director of procurement at Rosatom Roman Zimonas said that the volume of procurement by Rosatom in 2017 is seen at 800 bln rubles ($12.8 bln). According to the company’s documents, by the end of 2016 the volume of procurement by Rosatom will be at 467.2 bln rubles ($7.5 bln).

In 2015, the volume of procurement by Rosatom was 622.4 bln rubles ($9.9 bln).
