Premier Li rides on new China-made train in Rio de Janeiro

The new train is manufactured by China’s CNR Corp. The Metro Line 4 is the latest example of China’s efforts to export its industrial production capacity. It is due to start operations in June next year, in time for the Olympic Games.

Premier Li talks with the train driver. The train was purchased by the city’s Metro system for the new Metro Line 4 for the Olympic Games. Made by China CNR Corp, it was handed over to the local government in February.
