Starting this Tuesday (September 22nd), Folha is set to test a digital version of “The New York Times International Weekly” in Portuguese on folha.com.br to complement and extend its online coverage.
The new channel will be launched in Brazil, exclusively byFolha, as an extension of “The New York Times International Weekly” print section that has been published in Folha de Sao Paulo since 2008. This print version will continue to circulate every Saturday.
The channel has responsive design optimization, which means it can be accessed by all digital devices, including PCs, notebooks, tablets or smartphones. It will be updated along the week with texts, photos and videos and will also bring the content of the print section.
“This new publication comes to life already connected to the biggest newspaper audience in Brazil. Folha has more than 32 million monthly unique users, which guarantees high exposure and new business opportunities”, says Paulo Schiavon, digital business director at Folha.
The new channel is divided into seven verticals: Global Trends, Opinion, Business, Science and Technology, Art and Design, Lifestyle and Multimedia. The URL of the channel is folha.com/nytiw.
Folha’s highly respected online coverage will now joined by the authoritative reporting of “The New York Times International Weekly”, bringing even more quality content to its already vast digital audience.
