The Brazilian Company BrF is relying on its Pao Jiao Chicken Paw to conquer Chinese consumers and increase its presence in the Chinese Market.
Pao Jiao was launched last year by Sadia, one of BrF’s most important brands. Sadia is already popular in Hong Kong, and now BrF wants to make it popular in the continental China, too. In 2012, Sadia had 47% of Hong Kong’s frozen chicken market share.
Now, the plan is to become popular in this segment in China, too. First, with Pao Jiao. Later, Sadia will launch other frozen chicken and pork ham products in China.
BrF jas a joint venture with a Chinese company called Dah Chong Hong, responsible for distributing its products to super markets and food servicers.
