The Brazilian government signed this Monday (24th), during the VII Brazil-European Union Summit, in Brussels, Belgium, an agreement that creates a working group for economic themes, aiming to develop the cooperation between Brazil and the European bloc.
The agreement foresees that, in addition to giving emphasis to the investments and competitiveness, the working group will provide the creation of a temporary forum for the economic and trade dialogue between Brazil and the European Union.
The plan of action is divided in five topics and it anticipates an increase of bilateral investments, cooperation in competitiveness and industrial innovation and research, approximating companies and research centers and connecting students to small, micro and medium-sized companies. The areas of cooperation include infrastructure and logistic, petroleum, gas and offshore industry, renewable energies, tourism and corporate social responsibility.
